ABOUT THE LIVE WEBINAR
Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) detections have increased in Pennsylvania and across the United States, with risk levels expected to remain high throughout the spring migration season. This webinar, presented by the Penn State Extension Poultry Team, will provide an overview of HPAI, the current outbreak situation, and clinical signs of the disease. Participants will also learn where to seek assistance if they suspect sick birds and explore practical biosecurity strategies to protect small flocks and backyard poultry.

This two-hour webinar will be led by experts from Penn State Extension and the Penn State Departments of Animal Science and Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences.
